Brewers Lose By a Run at Cincinnati, 4-3

Cincinnati beat Milwaukee on the strength of starter Mike Leake's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-3. The Reds, now 2-0, have stormed out of the gates. With Cincinnati leading 3-0 in the bottom of the second, Leake hit a run-scoring single off Milwaukee hurler Yovani Gallardo. It was the 1st hit of the season for Leake and put his team ahead, 4-0. "I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Leake.

another loss Yovani gives up 4...we got 3 back but come up short 4-3.  2 runs in the 1st and 2nd proved to be too much, Brewers fought back with single runs in the 7th, 8th, and 9th after the Reds starter Mike Leake was removed but it wasn't enough and the Brewers fall to 0-2.
