Brewers Clip Braves, 5-4
Milwaukee and Atlanta duked it out and the Brewers came out victorious. The Milwaukee Brewers overcame a good performance by Atlanta catcher Brian McCann to knock off Atlanta, 5-4, at Miller Park. McCann went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The loss puts Atlanta at 0-4. Edwin Izaguirre dealt the Braves a blow in the bottom of the fifth. Batting with a runner on 3rd and Milwaukee leading 4-1, Izaguirre hit a 2-2 slider for a run-scoring single. "You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Atlanta manager Fredi Gonzalez.

The Brewers got off to an early lead for once and held on for their first win of the season. Randy Wolf of all people gets the W. John Axford gets his first save and Yuni made an error.
