Brewers Lose By a Run at Cincinnati, 4-3
Cincinnati beat Milwaukee on the strength of starter Mike Leake's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-3. The Reds, now 2-0, have stormed out of the gates.
With Cincinnati leading 3-0 in the bottom of the second, Leake hit a run-scoring single off Milwaukee hurler Yovani Gallardo. It was the 1st hit of the season for Leake and put his team ahead, 4-0.
"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Leake.
