Cubs Earn 5-2 Win Against Brewers
The Cubs grabbed a win, 5-2, at Miller Park, overcoming a fine effort from
Milwaukee pitcher Shaun Marcum. Marcum went 6 innings and allowed 1 run. Kerry
Wood collected save number 2. The loss drops the Brewers to 3-5. Chicago used
the clutch hitting of Tony Campana to capture the win. The center fielder
drilled a 2-run double in the top of the 13th inning to give the Cubs the
lead, 4-2. For the game, Campana had 1 single and 1 double in 6 at-bats.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Campana said after the
game.
