The Atlanta Braves beat the Milwaukee Brewers, 4-3. Atlanta pitcher and Columbus, Ohio, native Tim Hudson led the way. The loss drops Milwaukee to 2-4. Chipper Jones, the 1999 Most Valuable Player Award winner , had a direct impact on the outcome. Jones contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put Atlanta up, 2-0. "I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Milwaukee manager Joe Campbell said following the tough loss.

Greinke gets his 2nd setback of the season going 7 with 4 runs (3 earned). Two runs in the 7th weren't enough. Craig Counsell filled in admirably for Yuni committing an error. Loe worked the final 2 innings scoreless to keep his ERA at 0.00.
