Big Day for Weeks in 14-5 Brewers Win
The Milwaukee Brewers relied on the hitting of second baseman Rickie Weeks to
stop the Atlanta Braves, 14-5. For the game, Weeks was 3 for 4 with a home run
and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Milwaukee goes to 3-4. In the
bottom of the second, Yuniesky Betancourt hit a 2-run home run. The 1st home
run of the season for the Milwaukee shortstop put the Brewers on top, 2-1.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said Betancourt.

The bats came alive, even Yuni as the Brewers put up 8 in the 2nd and
took at 14-1 lead after 4 innings and never looked back finishing it
14-5. Yovani Gallardo gave up 5 in 7 IP but the game was never in
doubt. Yo even got in on the fun going 2/3 with a double and and RBI.
