Pirates cancel season finale in Milwaukee

After getting swept again this weekend making them 0-6 this season and 5-34 since 2006 at Miller Park the Pittsburgh Pirates have called off the scheduled season ending September 25-28 series in Milwaukee.

When asked why he made this unprecedented decision, General Manager Neal Huntington defended it:

It makes sense on so many levels. We save money not having to travel to Milwaukee. We get a 4 day head start working on next year's 4th place team. Seriously why wouldn't we do this??

All star Andrew McCutchen:

I don't really agree with it but it saves me a trip to Milwaukee...and we get 4 extra days of offseason...and we don't have to go back to Milwaukee, I hate going to Milwaukee.

Manager Clint Hurdle:

Whatever
