Doug Melvin strikes again

Brewers traded minor league catcher Wil Nieves to the Braves for cash considerations.

What could he possibly get??  Jokingly when I hear stories like this I think to myself "what 50 cents??"

Not our Doug Melvin!!



Proving once again to be a genius, Trader Doug fleeced the Braves and scored a George Washington for Nieves.

How will the Brewers use this new found money??  The possibilities are endless:

• Can of soda
• Candy bar
• Slide lube for Bernie
• 2 packs of Doublemint
• A donut
• A cup of ice
• 3 cans of Cool Ranch Soda
• A pocket comb
• A shoelace (not the whole pair)
• 2 stamps and possibly an envelope

• 1 taco at Taco Bell
• A bus ticket...city not Greyhound
• A newspaper 
• Cubs playoff highlights DVD
• A killer tune
• Wrigley Field
